Stop Getting Generic
AI Answers.

Most people prompt AI like a search bar and get search-bar answers. This is the one framework that turns any AI into a specialist, plus six copy-paste prompts you can steal today.

The Framework

Meet PRIME.

Bad prompts are missing information, so the AI fills the gaps with average guesses. PRIME is a checklist of the five things AI needs to give you its best work. Fill all five and the quality jump is not small. It's a different tool.

P

Persona (who is answering?)

Assign the AI a specific expert identity. A "senior brand strategist with 10 years in DTC" answers very differently from a blank assistant. Specific role = specific thinking.

"You are a senior content strategist who has grown 3 brands past 100k followers."
R

Result (what exactly do you want back?)

State the deliverable AND its format. "Give me ideas" is weak. "Give me a 4-week calendar in a table with columns for date, hook, format, and CTA" is a spec the AI can hit.

"Return a table: Week | Theme | Hook | Format | CTA."
I

Input (what does it need to know?)

Feed it your context: brand, audience, offer, tone, any data or links. AI can't read your mind or your business. The more real context you give, the less it invents.

"Brand: [what you do]. Audience: [who]. Goal: [what you want them to do]."
M

Mandate (what are the rules?)

Set the guardrails: tone, length, reading level, what to avoid, must-haves. This is where you kill the robotic voice, the emojis you hate, and the fluff.

"Simple words, no jargon, no emojis. Every line earns the next. Max 60 words."
E

Example (what does “good” look like?)

Show it one sample you love: a post, a caption, a headline. AI is a world-class mimic. One good example beats five paragraphs of description.

"Match the style of this: [paste a post or caption you love]."

The Prompts

Six Prompts, Built on PRIME.

Every prompt below already has all five PRIME levers baked in. Copy it, swap the [BRACKETS]for your details, and paste. Read the notes under each one. That's where the real leverage is.

01

Content Calendar

For planning a month of posts that actually connect and build toward a goal.

content-calendar.prompt
You are a senior content strategist who has grown multiple brands past 100k followers by turning topics into content people actually save and share.

Build me a 4-week content calendar for [PLATFORM: Instagram / LinkedIn / etc].

CONTEXT
- Brand: [WHAT YOU DO IN ONE LINE]
- Audience: [WHO THEY ARE + THEIR #1 STRUGGLE]
- Goal this month: [E.G. GROW FOLLOWERS / SELL X / DRIVE NEWSLETTER SIGNUPS]
- Content pillars: [3–5 TOPICS YOU WANT TO BE KNOWN FOR]

RULES
- Mix formats: educational, story, proof/result, and a soft-sell.
- Every idea must earn the scroll-stop: lead with a hook, not a topic.
- No generic "5 tips" filler. Each idea ties to the audience's real struggle.
- Simple language. No jargon.

RETURN a table with these columns:
Week | Day | Pillar | Hook (the first line) | Format | Core idea | CTA

After the table, list 3 content angles I'm probably overlooking for this audience.
How to use

Fill the four CONTEXT lines honestly. That's 80% of the quality. The more specific the audience struggle, the sharper every hook comes back.

Pro move

After it replies, say: "Now write the full hook + first 3 lines for the top 5 ideas." You go from a plan to ready-to-shoot content in one step.

Common mistake

Don't accept the first table as final. AI's first pass is safe. Reply "make these 30% more specific and less obvious" and watch it level up.

02

Report Generation

For turning messy numbers or notes into a clean report someone will actually read.

report.prompt
You are a sharp business analyst who is great at turning raw data into a report a busy decision-maker understands in 60 seconds.

Turn the information below into a clear [WEEKLY / MONTHLY / CAMPAIGN] report.

THE DATA / NOTES
[PASTE YOUR NUMBERS, METRICS, OR ROUGH NOTES HERE]

CONTEXT
- Who reads this: [E.G. MY CLIENT / MY BOSS / MY OWN RECORDS]
- What they care about most: [E.G. ROI / GROWTH / WHAT TO DO NEXT]
- Time period: [DATES]

RULES
- Lead with the takeaway, not the raw data.
- Plain language. Explain any metric in half a sentence.
- Be honest about what's working AND what isn't.
- No filler, no corporate fluff.

STRUCTURE the report as:
1. TL;DR: 3 bullet takeaways
2. What the numbers say: key metrics with % change and one line of "why"
3. What's working / What's not
4. Recommended next actions: ranked, specific, doable this period

Flag anything in the data that looks off or is missing so I can double-check.
How to use

Paste raw data however messy: bullet notes, a copied table, screenshots' text. The "who reads this" line changes the entire tone, so never skip it.

Pro move

End with "Now rewrite the TL;DR as a 3-line message I can send on WhatsApp/Slack." One prompt, both a formal report and a quick update.

Common mistake

Never let AI invent numbers it doesn't have. The "flag anything missing" line forces it to say "I don't have X" instead of quietly making it up.

03

Post / Reel Script Writing

For a short video script that hooks in the first second and holds attention to the end.

script.prompt
You are a short-form scriptwriter who understands retention. Every second either earns the next or loses the viewer.

Write a [30–45 SECOND] talking-head script about:
[YOUR TOPIC / THE ONE IDEA]

CONTEXT
- Audience: [WHO + WHAT THEY WANT]
- The one thing they should remember: [YOUR CORE POINT]
- Tone: [E.G. CALM AND CLEAR / HIGH ENERGY / FRIENDLY EXPERT]

RULES
- First line is a hook: a bold claim, question, or pattern-break. No "Hey guys".
- Spoken language, short sentences. Written for the ear, not the page.
- No jargon. A beginner should get every word.
- One idea only. Cut anything that doesn't serve it.

STRUCTURE it as:
- HOOK (line 1, 0–3s)
- BUILD-UP (why they should care)
- VALUE (the actual how / insight)
- PAYOFF (the "aha")
- CTA (one clear action)

Give me 3 different HOOK options for line 1 before the full script.
Match the vibe of this example I like: [PASTE A SCRIPT OR CAPTION STYLE YOU LOVE]
How to use

The "one thing they should remember" line is the whole trick. It forces one idea per video, which is why some reels hit and rambling ones don't.

Pro move

Pick your favourite of the 3 hooks, then say "rewrite the whole script to pay off THIS hook harder." Alignment between hook and payoff is what holds retention.

Common mistake

Don't leave the example blank. Without it, AI defaults to a generic "creator voice." One pasted script you love instantly makes it sound like you.

04

Caption Writing

For captions that stop the scroll, deliver value, and push one clear action.

caption.prompt
You are a social copywriter who writes captions people actually finish reading and save.

Write [3] caption options for a post about:
[WHAT THE POST IS ABOUT]

CONTEXT
- Platform: [INSTAGRAM / LINKEDIN / ETC]
- Audience: [WHO + WHAT THEY STRUGGLE WITH]
- Goal of this post: [SAVES / COMMENTS / CLICKS / SIGNUPS]

RULES
- First line must hook on its own. It's all they see before "more".
- One line per thought. White space is your friend.
- Talk TO one person, not "you guys".
- No emojis unless they add meaning. No hashtag walls.
- End with ONE specific CTA, not three.

For each of the 3 options give me:
- A different hook angle (curiosity / bold claim / relatable pain)
- The full caption
- 5 relevant, non-spammy hashtags

Match the tone of this caption I like: [PASTE ONE YOU LOVE]
How to use

Set the goal to one thing. A caption written for saves reads differently from one written for comments. Asking for "all of it" gets you none of it.

Pro move

Reply "give me 5 more first-line hooks only" and keep the winner. The hook is 90% of the caption's job. Batch them and bank the best.

Common mistake

Don't ship the AI's default "engagement bait" CTA ("comment YES below"). Swap it for something true to you. The prompt gives you the body, you own the ask.

05

Design Audit

For an honest critique of a post, carousel, thumbnail, or graphic before you publish it.

design-audit.prompt
You are a senior brand + social designer with a sharp eye for what stops the scroll and what gets ignored. Be honest, not polite.

Audit the design I'm sharing: [ATTACH THE IMAGE / DESCRIBE IT IN DETAIL]

CONTEXT
- What it is: [CAROUSEL / THUMBNAIL / POST / POSTER]
- Where it lives: [INSTAGRAM FEED / STORY / LINKEDIN / ETC]
- Goal: [STOP THE SCROLL / EXPLAIN X / DRIVE A CLICK]
- Brand style: [COLORS, FONTS, VIBE, OR "KEEP IT MINIMAL AND WARM"]

AUDIT IT ON these, scored 1–10 with a reason:
1. Scroll-stopping power (first 0.5s)
2. Readability (text size, contrast, hierarchy)
3. Visual hierarchy: does the eye land where it should?
4. Whitespace & balance
5. Brand consistency
6. Clarity of the message / CTA

RULES
- Point to the exact element, not vague advice ("the subheading" not "some text").
- For every problem, give a specific fix I can do in 5 minutes.
- Tell me the ONE change that would improve it most.
- Don't soften it. I'd rather fix it now than flop in public.

End with a prioritized fix list: Must-fix / Nice-to-have.
How to use

Attach the actual image if your AI supports it (Claude and ChatGPT do). No image? Describe it precisely (layout, text, colors) and it still gives useful notes.

Pro move

The "be honest, not polite" line matters. AI defaults to flattery. Push further with "what would a top designer roast about this?" for the real feedback.

Common mistake

Don't ask "is this good?" You'll get a yes. Ask it to score and prioritize. Numbers and a ranked fix list force specific, usable critique.

06

Website Audit

For finding what's costing you clicks, sign-ups, or sales on a page, in plain English.

website-audit.prompt
You are a conversion (CRO) and UX expert who has audited hundreds of landing pages and knows what makes a visitor act vs bounce.

Audit this page: [PASTE THE URL OR THE FULL PAGE COPY]

CONTEXT
- What the page is for: [SELL X / GET SIGNUPS / BOOK A CALL]
- Target visitor: [WHO + WHAT THEY WANT WHEN THEY LAND]
- Main action I want them to take: [THE ONE CONVERSION GOAL]

AUDIT these areas, each with what's working, what's not, and a specific fix:
1. Above-the-fold: is the value clear in 5 seconds?
2. Headline & messaging clarity
3. Trust & proof (testimonials, results, credibility)
4. Call-to-action: clear, single, compelling?
5. Flow & structure: does it guide to the action?
6. Friction & objections left unanswered
7. Copy tone: human or generic?

RULES
- Be specific: quote the exact line or section you mean.
- Rank issues by impact on conversion (high / medium / low).
- Plain language: assume I'm not a developer.
- For each high-impact issue, write the improved version.

End with: the top 3 changes that would move the needle most, in order.
How to use

If your AI can browse, paste the URL. If not, copy the page text into the prompt. Either way, nail the "one conversion goal": a page with three goals converts on none.

Pro move

Follow up with "now rewrite my above-the-fold three ways: clear, bold, and curiosity-driven." You get real A/B options, not just a list of problems.

Common mistake

Don't act on all of it at once. Ship the top 3 changes, measure, then re-run the audit. Chasing every "low impact" note is how you stall for weeks.
